Avenged Sevenfold – Nightmare as Rock Band DLC

As we all know, I’m a massive Avenged Sevenfold and as happy as I was when Nightmare got released last week, I now find myself feeling rather empty. Why? Because it’s not DLC on Rock Band of course.

Okies so the lovely people at Rock Band have already charted Critical Acclaim, Afterlife and Bat Country for us and trust me, we all appreaciate it. Avenged Sevenfold is one of the most popular artists on Rock Band which leaves us craving more. While I would love every A7X to be charted, I can bite my tongue and deal with the fact that it’ll never happen, although I do reckon Avenged Sevenfold: Rock Band would sell a lot more copies than Green Day: Rock Band.

I think Nightmare is an ideal song to be charted, whether it’s released as part of the weekly Tuesday DLC or released via the Rock Band Network. Some lovely fans have even gone and made a charting for it on drums so the job is almost done.

Since Rock Band are a bit anal about sweary words, I’m sure we could all deal with singing: “It’s your *pause* nightmare!”. Certain lyrics of the song would of course be ‘talkies’ and there would be an epic tappy section during the guitar solos. You see, I have this all planned out.

Unfortunatly the people over at RockBandAide.com told me it was unlikely that Nightmare will be charted but I want to prove them wrong. I think if enough people suggested it as a song, they would change their mind and quit releasing all this pop pish every week (well aside from the new Pantera album).

So this is where I need your help. I need you all to take literally 10 seconds of your time (if your reading my blog then you’ve got all the time on your sweet little paws) and follow these instructions.

2. Type in Avenged Sevenfold in the Artist Name section box.
3. Type in Nightmare in the Song Title box.
4. Type in “Because it’s an awesome song & we love Avenged Sevenfold!” in the Why It Rocks box.
5. Enter the captcha box and press submit

I’m determined to make this song available as DLC, I just need some help to make it happen. Thank you xo
