Amougst a team of reviewers, I was chosen by Sextoys.co.uk to test and review a random adult toy. The suspense killed me and when I found out that I was selected to review the Doc Johnson Jenna’s Ultimate Butterfly Thruster, I was over the moon!
This beautiful rabbit style vibrator was designed by “The Queen of Porn” world famous adult entertainer, Jenna Jameson and manufactured by the adult toy company Doc Johnson. I remember watching a lot of Jenna’s movies a few years back, so I was more than eager to try out a toy that the porn star designed, especially since she knows exactly what women want when it comes to pleasure.
The box names the toy as “Jenna’s Ultimate Stroker” but I feel “Jenna’s Ultimate Butterfly Thruster” is a more accurate and descriptive name, and one that is known throughout the Internet. Right, so before I can talk about the dirty stuff, let’s discuss the basics. The multi-function vibrator measures in at eight inches in length and has a girth of one and a half, five of which are insertable – more than you need to reach multiple and blissful orgasams.
The Ultimate Butterfly Thruster comes in the one colour of vibrant red and is slightly transparent due to being made with ABS/TPE, a non-toxic jelly substance. Along with having trademark beads below the head that rotate and squirm, the unique feature of this toy is the up and down thrusting motion which extends up to an extra inch.
The box description says:

Jenna’s Ultimate Stroker is the Ulti-mate toy. The multi-speed mult-function controller is simple and fun to use. You have full control over the speed of the thruster so you can gradually build up to a comfortable speed as you feel it deeply penetrate you and your g-spot. A metal rod runs vertically through the center of the vibrator, attached to a motor that never fails to provide you with godly pleasure. The three grooves that extend upwards are extremely soft and squishy, I guarentee that you won’t be able to stop touching it!
The shaft of the vibrator has been moulded to resemble an actual penis, complete with a well-defined head, ridges and textures which feel fantastic against the most sensitive part of the female body.
The Doc Johnson Jenna’s Ultimate Butterfly Thruster runs off four AA batteries which are not included with your toy so ensure you pick them up at the checkout or have a supply in your household. At the back of the control panel; at the base of the toy is a panel that slides off in a downwards motion allowing you access to insert your batteries. Unlike the other vibrators I’ve reviewed, there is no battery pack that slides out which means you have to individually insert the four batteries in a diamond like shape (as pictured). Truthfully, I found inserting the batteries awkward because since it’s quite compact, there was little room for my fingers which causes the spring to bounce the battery out of place. I then found removing the batteries even more awkward as I had to dig my nails into the battery and roll it about until it decided to pop out, which at one point caused my nail to break. Perhaps inserting and removing batteries isn’t my thing, eh?
The controls are very simple and easy to use with two sets of arrow buttons that clearly indicate ‘on’ and ‘off’. Pressing the ‘on’ button will gradually go through the vibration and/or rotation combinations and a bar will light up on the LED panel above. Yes, it lights up so you can see it in the dark, persuming you want to.
Pressing F1 controls the vibration of the butterfly, going through a range of vibrations. F2 is an auto reverse button so if you press that, the rotations will differ and go in the opposite direction. The F3 button controls the shaft of the vibrator, making the pearls rotate and squirm, along with it thrusting up and down.
While testing this toy out, I felt that the buttons were sometimes a bit too sensitive and the lightest touch would increase or decrease the vibration or thrusting action making me feel like I wasn’t in full control. I also noticed that once the toy in inserted, the controls were mirrored so when I thought I was turning it off, I was actually turning it on and vice versa. I can only persume it’s something you would get used to over time, but in the early days you definatly need to take a look between your legs to see what’s going on.
Unlike the traditional ‘rabbit’ vibrator, the Ultimate Thruster features a butterfly, made out of the same jelly like substance as the rest of the toy and has a strong bullet built into it’s body. The vibrators spread through the detailed wings and antenna which press very nicely against your clitoris, ensuring your well on your way to that mind-blowing orgasam that leaves you out of breath. Let’s remember that the clit is where most of the nerve endings are found so you definatly want to focus on that, along with internal penetration.
In regards to the noise, it’s not exactly quiet but that’s to be expected with any vibrator, especially one that has multiple motors built in. If noise is a problem for you, I advise playing music during play sessions to muffle the noise or suggest your room-mates or parents go out shopping allowing you to play.
Unfortunatly the toy isn’t waterproof so if your planning a sexy shower, you’re going to have to leave this one in the storage box.

This was a fantastic toy without a doubt and I’m so glad I was given the opportunity to review it and add it as a new addition to the toybox. The unique thrusting action is amazing and combined with the butterfly stimulator provides you with endless amounts of orgasams. Jenna was definatly successful in designing this toy, it has every function that a female requires to climax.
My only fault is the battery pack, which I explained earlier in the review. I feel if it had a slide out battery pack, it would make it so much easier and I wouldn’t have to worry about broken nails. I always remove my batteries from toys after play to stop them draining (or possibily leaking), so when I’m in the mood, it’s not exactly a turn on sitting trying to quickly cram in four batteries that don’t go in as easily as they should.
