The Fresh Vegan-Friendly Spanking Paddle is actually one of the first purchases that I made to the toy box crate so it’s only fair that I go back and give it a review. However, being a paddle that has no electronic functions or features, there is only so much I can say but I’ll try my best to give it justice.
So let’s discuss aesthetics because let’s be honest, this is one beautiful looking paddle! The Fresh Spanking Paddle is made out of high quality polyethelene so it’s very soft and smooth to touch which is ideal for when it strikes your ass, as intended. It measures in at twelve inches in length and comes in the one available colour. I say one colour, but actually it’s two; let me explain. One side of the paddle is a deep pink colour while the other side is a complimenting baby blue colour with a pink, with the Fresh trademark logo (or a floral pattern, depending how you look at it). It also has white stitching around the paddle and design which goes very well with the colour theme.
The handle of the paddle has a o-ring about an inch in from the end which has a long looped white chord attached. This is ideal for hanging it up if you wish to publicly display it or you could replace it with a pretty ribbon and tie it into a bow if you want to continue the ‘cute’ appeal that this paddle definatly has. It’s also good to loop around your wrist so you have a secure grip on the paddle when spanking it against your partners hind.
Fresh is a company which produces a vegan-friendly adult accessory range for those who want an animal free alternative to leather. Their range also continues the blue and pink theme as seen in the paddle so if your wanting the whole collection, consider investing in the matching ankle/wrist cuffs, collars, leash, whip, blindfold and nipple clamps!
In regards to the paddle’s performance, I have to be honest and say that this is only ideal for beginners who are new to spanking. The interior of the paddle consists of a plastic, inch wide rod which gives a satisfying ‘oomph’ when struck against your skin but not enough to cause long term bruising and marks. If your into bruises that last for days after your play session, I recommend getting a paddle made from more durable materials such as leather or even wood!
Prior to the purchase of the Fresh Spanking Paddle, I was a spanking virgin; with the exception of my ass being whipped from twisted towels at work. I chose this at my first paddle because I was drawn to the pastel colours compared to the bland, boring, plain black ones that are commonly marketed. I’ll admit I’m a bit of a slut when it comes to good looking (cute) adult toys and accessories.
During play sessions, we started off with light taps and gradually worked up to harder twacks. I can’t explain the amazing feeling you get from being spanked, you would have to try it yourself if you haven’t already. As I said previously, I do recommend this for beginners and it’s a perfect ‘girly’ addition to any toybox.

On closer inspection, a lot of the online retailers advertise the paddle with the floral design being on the pink side whereas on mine it appears on the blue side (as pictured). A few sites also suggest that the paddle is darker and more vibrant in colour, compared to the one I have. I’m unsure if it’s just enhanced camera lighting or if it’s an upgraded style of paddle but regardless, all versions look great. I just felt it was worth mentioning.
