Smoothy Anal Probe 2

Disclaimer: This is a review of a sex toy.

The lovely people who run BedroomPleasures contacted me asking if I would be interested in doing reviews for their products and all they ask for is an honest opinion. I would of been an idiot to say ‘no’ to testing out adult toys, right?

The first toy they sent me was the Smoothy Anal Probe, a toy they recommend for beginners to anal stimulation. Up until now I’ve been an anal virgin but have always been curious to what happens beyond the back door. My partner, as much as he’s interested in adult toys, isn’t keen for anal play himself which to be honest, I’m glad.

You hear too many myths about anal-play, most of them successful in putting you off. People seem to think that if you do anal you are a whore, it hurts really bad, if you put toys up your bum you’ll get shit all over it and if you push too deep it will get lost and never come out. None of which are true.

The Smoothy Prober is a satisfying handful at 8 inches in length and has a less intimidating width of 1 inch. Made out of non-toxic vinyl rubber, this toy is an absoulte delight to touch and play with with it’s soft, jelly-like, smooth texture! Presented in a translucent shade of purples and pinks it definatly has a thumbs up for appearance making it a real feminine toy to play with.

This toy has two multi-purpose ends, one of them being 4 beads which increase slightly in size and the other being a dildo with a slim part allowing you to work up to a comfortable girth. Like with all adult toys, lubrication is a must-have so I recommend using the Loving Joy Slide Lube that BedroomPleasures also provide for a low cost.

Unfortunatly my partner and I didn’t use lubricant when playing with the Smoothy Probe during the first time but we were successful in our play. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous but we’ve had the toy in our toybox for quite some time now so I guess it was time to bite the bullet to to speak. Face my fears, bend over and take it like a bitch!

The key to anal-play is relaxation because if your tense your body puts up a barrier to prevent entry and it quickly becomes a discomforting experience. Luckily I managed to remain calm and relaxed as my partner wiggled the toy, beaded-end first, up inside me. He asked me how it felt and I was unable to give an answer, not only because it felt really good and I didn’t want to talk but also because I couldn’t describe it. I mumbled: “It’s a good weird” which gave him permission to continue. Obviously if it hurt me or I didn’t like the feeling, we would of aborted the play straight away.

I quickly felt comfortable with the toy inside me and at no point did I feel this tabooed pain that people always mention when discussing anything relating to anal. It was a bizare feeling of pleasure, very different from being vaginally penetrated or clitorial stimulation.

Do I recommend it? Of course I do. It’s a fantastic toy for anyone curious about anal play and I guarentee you will not be disappointed, especially since you can buy it from BedroomPleasures for under £10, including free UK postage and packaging. Don’t worry, it arrives discretely so nobody will know what you’ve bought ;3
