Back in early March 2011, Jeff, the owner and creator of STR8cam Lube contacted me asking if I would be interested in reviewing his latest product. As a fan of his work, I was more than happy to give it a test.
I was really excited to get my paws on this interesting product, a lubricant that was designed not only to be an efficient lube but also has the same appearance and texture to male cum. I received a few of the Travel Squirter packs to test out and I was not disappointed.
Each sachet packet consists of 14.75ml of the product, a rectangular silver foil with stickers on both side. The front of the packet has the link to the website STR8camlube.com and below that features a complimenting cartoon image of Jeff himself, flexing his forearms and posing in his boxers. The bold text stands out against the faded rainbow background and sums up the product in a few simple words:

The reason I find this product so intriguing is the fact that there is nothing like it on the market. I mean sure, you have your basic lubricants and massage oils but there’s nothing that resembles the appearance of cum. Like a lot of people, I find cum a bit of a turn-on and for the sake of an honest review, I’m going to be open about that. However, I was curious to know what ingredients made this unique product and as they are listed on the back of the packaging, I’ll list them below:
Water, cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, dimethicone, dimethiconol, propylene glycol, hydroymethylcellulose, glycerine and methylparaben.
For the purpose of this review I squirted an entire sachet of the product onto my hand for photographic purposes but trying to get a high quality photo with one hand is easier said than done. Although my photos don’t do it justice, this product lives up to it’s name and resembles cum, along with having the same wet, thick-like texture. It’s the type of product where a little goes a long way so even if you buy the sachet, you don’t need to use all of it at once. It’s long-lasting in the sense that it doesn’t try up and it certainly qualifies as a great massage medium.
STR8cam Lube is a tasteless product so if you’re into giving fruit-flavoured blowjobs, perhaps avoid putting this on your partner’s penis. In regards to the smell, I would compare it putty – you know, that squishy gel stuff you played with as a kid. It’s not a bad smell (unless you hate the smell of putty) but it’s not strong.
Unlike a lot of my other lubricants, STR8cam Lube isn’t sticky which is a massive thumbs up because there is nothing worse than having sticky fingers and sticking to everything while you clean-up after a play session. It’s also a very light product which is soft to handle and gently disappears into silk if rubbed into the skin for long enough. To be completely honest, my hands feel like I’ve used a really good moisturiser. I also found that it’s very easy to clean up and if you’re a bit messy like myself and drip onto your covers, no fear – it magically dries up and disappears with no staining.
The travel size sachets are perfect for just that, travel. They are small and flat, perfect to fit discretely into a bag and the packaging is sturdy so you don’t have to worry about it exploding or tearing. It actually takes a good ‘tug’ on the top of the sachet to open it up (or you can use your teeth if you’re weak like myself). You can also buy the product in small squirty bottles for the bedroom and even a gallon bottle if you’re a fanatic.

I’ve definitely converted into a STR8cam fangirl and recommend it to anyone who is wanting to try something new. It’s condom friendly so unlike some lubricants, you don’t have to worry about it damaging the strength of the latex. It looks great and it feels great, what more do you want?
