Silicone Crystal Cote 0
Edenfantasys, a worldwide adult toy retailer who also power my sex shop offered me the Silicone Crystal Cote from their dildo range to review.
Although I have a large vibrator and adult toy collection, this is my first dildo and more specifically, my first suction dildo. When it arrived in the post, the first thing I done was remove it from the plastic casing and stick it to the side of the TV unit. Why? Because that’s what anyone would do with a suction cup dildo.
Like the name suggests, the Silicone Crystal Cote is made out of TPR silicone and comes 3 available colours; pink, purple and orange. With a crystal clear exterior, you can gaze inside at a vibrant coloured cone which continues down to the base of the toy. The Cote is 7 inches in length, 4 and half of which are insertable, making this a pleasant and satisfying product for any female. Unlike novelty dildos, the Cote has been moulded to resemble an actual penis, complete with a well-defined head, ridges and balls. Beautiful wouldn’t be a term I would normally use to describe a dildo, but once you see the quality and amazing contract between the neon and clear silicone, you will understand.
The shaft itself is firm but becomes a bit ‘squishy’ when squeezed. It’s bendable to an extent, allowing you to manuvure it to penetrate yourself vaginally and/or anally. The texture feels amazing and has a seemless finish so you don’t have to worry about any connection ridges that you often get with silicone toys.
The silicone is phthalates-free, latex-free and hypo-allergenic but because it’s made out of TPR, it cannot be sterilized. However, once your toy has been used, cleaning is compulsary so use soap or a light bleach soak and be assure to rinse it thoroughly. When the Cote isn’t in use, I store it in a draw-string silk bag, in a box to prevent it gathering dust in the shaft ridges.
So how strong is the suction-pad on the base of the dildo? Well it’s strong enough to stick to the side of my TV unit for a couple hours before eventually losing it’s grip and falling to the floor. I’ve tried sticking it on lots of surfaces and it seems strong enough to withstand a lot of materials, for a long period of time. So why would anyone want a suction-cup on the base of their dildo, I hear you ask? I never understood prior to owning one either but once you see it, your mind instantly opens up a wide range of kinky fantasies that can become a reality thanks to this handy little feature. Possible ideas include sticking it to your wall and backing up into it for deep penetration or you could stick it to the base of your shower for a hands-free solo session. With the suction-pad attached to the balls, this doubles as a secure base to hold onto and is wide enough to be used during anal.
Combined with a water-based lubricant, the Cote will soon become your best friend and pleasure you in all the right places. I love the various colours that it comes in, giving it a sophisticated and modern appearance that most dildos fail to have. It’s a fantastic size for those in the ‘average’ bracket so if you’re looking to buy your first dildo, this is a strong recommendation. It’s easy to clean and maintain, I honestly have zero faults with it. California Exotic Novelties haven’t disappointed us with this coloured dong.
